About Us
We are a non-profit initiative based in the UAE.
We work closely with people of determination of all
ages and abilities.
Our objective is to facilitate a real world entrepreneurial
business opportunity.
Our 4 step Approach
is geared toward sparking inner entrepreneurial and business spirits.
Creativity
We organise arts & crafts workshops at local community centres and work with the students to bring their creations to life.
Discussion
We brainstorm with the students in group sessions about how best to transform their creations into marketable products.
Entrepreneurship
We provide the tools and guidance to facilitate the transformation from artistic creation to marketable product.
Business Opportunity
We organise 'pop-ups’ at local fairs to showcase and sell the students' creations, ensuring that they are a part of the set-up, operation, and sales process.
Making a difference in the lives of students of determination, The Rashid Centre for students of Determination, was established in 1994. Since opening, we have been faced with many challenges to achieve the State’s strategy and the vision of its wise government, which did not only look at this category but also created a vision of faith, empowerment, employment and integration for the students.
